Have you ever seen one of those funny photos or videos of people walking on shaky legs through the glass bridge? Most of those shots are probably from Zhangjiajie (where they shot the Avatar). Because of the extreme popularity of this attraction in a last few years, glass bridges have sprouted all across China. Jinyun (Zhejiang Province) just got one as well. Have a look…

The view from the platform
Travelling tips:

Place: Jinyun Jiaolong Canyon – 缙云蛟龙大峡谷玻璃栈道
Transport: Go to Jinyun (you can take a bus from Lishui – around 40min ride). Then take a bus to Jiaokeng (蛟坑). From there just follow the crowd.
Entrance fee: 100 CNY (~15$ that’s a bummer)
Hike: 2-3h. Fair warning – it’s quite steep with endless stairs. The part going up was a killer. The view from the top is outstanding though. Especially from the viewing (glass) platform and the bridge itself. Keep in mind – it’s quite windy there. The way down is easier. Less steep and goes along the river.

Comments: OMG it was so much fun! The stairs were a killer but it was worth it. If you have a chance you should see glass bridge at least once in your life.
